We are seeking a Crewing Officer to join our team, responsible for crew management, recruitment, and training. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance on board.
Job Description- Source seafarers from reputable manning agencies, carefully selecting candidates with the right skills and experience.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads to ensure the best fit for our vessels.
- Verify and update seafarer certificates, including medical checks and flag state licenses.
- Liaise with port agents and crew manning agencies for seamless crew joining and repatriation.
- Manage crew planning and rotation lists, ensuring compliance with minimum safe manning requirements.
- A minimum diploma holder in any discipline, preferably related to maritime or logistics.
- At least one year of relevant crew manning experience, demonstrating your ability to work under pressure.
- Pleasant personality, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, organized, and able to multitask with ease.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
