About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Careers@Gov. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance the capabilities and competencies of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive blueprint for learning and development initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Curriculum Design and Development: Design and develop online, blended, or classroom learning interventions that cater to the needs of our employees.
  • Learning Operations Management: Manage learning management systems to ensure smooth execution of training management needs, including registration, invoicing, and payments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to execute learning and development initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Business Analytics and Reporting: Analyze and dashboard learning trends to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Internal Communications and Engagement: Plan, develop, and execute internal communications and engagement campaigns to drive learning and development initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Drive business transformation of processes and systems to improve support to employees.
  • Training Policy and Fund Management: Manage training policies and funds to ensure effective allocation and utilization.
  • Learning Platform Management: Manage learning platforms to ensure seamless delivery of learning content.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience, with prior experience in learning and development preferred.
  • Data Analytics: Possess prior experience in data analytics and trending analysis.
  • Communication and Project Management Skills: Possess excellent communication, people, and event management skills, good analytical and project management skills, and a strong interest in progressive practices and trends.
  • Design and Execution: Experience in designing, planning, and executing communications and engagement campaigns.
  • Public Speaking and Facilitation: Comfortable in public speaking and facilitating group discussions.
  • Soft Skills: Proactive, innovative, meticulous, resourceful, empathetic, and resilient.
  • Team Player: A proven track record of being both a strong individual contributor and team player.
