Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience in handling large-scale databases and ensuring their optimal performance. They should be proficient in Oracle RAC and Unix, with a good understanding of Windows operating systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance problems, connectivity and security issues.
  • Generating reports in Oracle database using tools like AWR, ASH, ADDM and manual scripts.
  • Providing continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, historical and real-time performance monitoring of the Oracle database.
  • Developing and executing database security policies and procedures.
  • Collecting and analyzing database performance information, identifying and implementing solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in handling Oracle Database Administration.
  • Experience in supporting Oracle database environments PROD/DR/DEV/QA/UAT.
  • Experience in supporting high availability Oracle RAC environment (2/3/4 node clusters).
  • Knowledge in Windows, and Unix.
