Oracle Database Administrator

As a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's Oracle database environment. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of the database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database environments to meet business requirements.
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor database performance and tune for optimal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and implementation.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing Oracle RAC environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Perl for automation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Oracle Certified Master (OCM) certification.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with database compliance standards such as PCI DSS and HIPAA.
