The Role:

Sephora is looking for a Senior Manager, Franchise Operations, who will report directly to the General Manager, Franchise Markets. This pivotal role within Sephora presents an exciting opportunity to drive growth by establishing a new business foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the success and expansion of our existing franchise markets in India and Indonesia, as well as exploring new markets in Asia through collaboration with our franchise partners. Key performance indicators for this position include achieving an ambitious expansion plan for Sephora in franchise markets and implementing retail KPIs and sales objectives.

In the capacity of Senior Manager, Franchise Operations, you will oversee franchise operations in collaboration with our franchise partners, ensuring that the Sephora ethos is integrated across all current and future stores. You will work closely with the regional Retail Experience team, leveraging Sephora's best practices in omni-channel experiences across the region and driving growth through your persuasive skills, analytical capabilities, and relationships with franchise partners. The Senior Manager, Franchise Operations will be instrumental in achieving in-store results to ensure business success through the execution of the franchise operating manual, retail KPIs, and targets, while providing support to the operations teams of our franchise partners throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster an enthusiastic and successful sales environment by emphasizing our Sephora ethos and proactively implementing key strategies for success. Integrate Sephora's best practices within franchise markets, in collaboration with the Regional Retail Experience team. Execute the franchise operating manual, set targets for individual franchises, and provide guidance in all operational areas. Collaborate with franchise partners to develop annual budgets and jointly formulate omni-channel retail strategies. Conduct monthly and weekly KPI reporting to analyze business trends across stores. Oversee store operations, mentoring and directing strategies for success to maximize omni-channel sales. Evaluate new store proposals and collaborate with project and design teams to secure necessary store approvals. Monitor and assist in ensuring timely and successful store openings. Ensure smooth and effective store operations while adhering to organizational standards and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and customer service excellence. Conduct quarterly audits, including formal results presentations and action plans for store improvement. Manage a Retail Excellence Manager who supports training initiatives and ensures that operations teams achieve training store certification.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Experience collaborating with senior levels across various functions, including Branding, Marketing & PR, E-commerce (including Performance Marketing), and Store Operations. Knowledge of the India and Indonesia markets, with the ability to assess the potential for future store openings. Strong business and financial acumen, particularly in consumer retail, omni-channel, and CPG Direct E-Commerce. Results-driven, with experience in setting and achieving business strategies, operational plans, budgets, and targets. Prioritizes customer service and possesses the ability to influence key stakeholders in delivering optimal outcomes for our customers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Capable of balancing priorities, resilient, dynamic, and driven. Willingness to travel to franchise locations as needed.
