Job Description:

The Facilities Operations Manager plays a vital role in supporting the senior management team by planning, executing, and monitoring facilities operations.

This position is responsible for coordinating logistics for events, programs, and activities to deliver efficient and effective services.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Operational Management Tasks: Coordinating daily activities, managing resources, maintaining records, and participating in strategic planning sessions
  • Facilities Booking Coordination: Liaising with internal stakeholders for booking requirements and communicating effectively with external parties
  • Audio Visual Support: Assisting the AV team with setup and configuration of equipment as needed
  • Facility Maintenance: Managing facilities upkeep, including carpark reservations, pantry supplies, and inventory control
  • Housekeeping Supervision: Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of premises at all times

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
  • Strong initiative and organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of audio visual systems is an asset, but willingness to learn and adapt is required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities operations or related field
  • Degree or diploma in facilities operations or related field
  • Proficient in computer knowledge and MS Office applications

Key Qualities: This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
