Early Childhood Educators
Job DescriptionAs an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters the holistic development of young children.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently as well as in a team, and possess a passion for teaching and caring for children.
Key responsibilities include providing high-quality learning experiences, maintaining professional dialogue with colleagues, and ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of children.
A successful candidate will also have experience in classroom management, observing, and recording children's progress. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of achievement and providing individual child portfolios/reports.
Teaching Requirements:
- Possess at least one of the following certifications: Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY), Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC), Dpt/DPL Certificate (L1 or L2)
- Be a certified English Language Teacher (DPT/DECC/ACEY Trained) and/or a certified Chinese Language Teacher (DPT/DECCE - Mandarin Language)
- Be registered with ECDA as EY1 or EY2 or L2 or L1
Successful candidates will be passionate about early childhood education, have a positive attitude, and be able to build strong relationships with parents and colleagues.
