Chinese Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chinese teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Mandarin and be able to inspire young minds to learn this beautiful language.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing engaging learning experiences that cater to the needs of children aged 1.5-6 years old. They will create lesson plans that are both fun and educational, incorporating activities such as singing, storytelling, and games to help children develop their language skills.

The teacher will also be responsible for planning developmentally appropriate lessons that align with the Singapore's NEL Framework, and introducing Chinese festivals, traditions, and classic tales to promote cultural awareness and appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire young minds through creative and interactive lessons
  • Design meaningful and engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • Introduce Chinese culture and traditions to promote cultural awareness and appreciation
  • Support children in confidently expressing themselves in Mandarin
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum-aligned programs
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (Chinese) or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Singapore's NEL Framework
  • Strong spoken and written Chinese skills
  • Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
