About Workday Security Analyst role

This is a critical position in ensuring the security and compliance of our organization's data within Workday.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security controls to safeguard against potential threats and ensure regulatory adherence.

  • Provide expert support and response to Workday Security queries from HR, managers, and employees
  • Develop and enforce industry-best-practice security configurations in Workday
  • Conduct regular reviews of security measures to guarantee effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Create policies and procedures related to information security management and facilitate their implementation throughout the organization
  • Maintain awareness of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, taking proactive measures to address them
  • Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in Workday Security and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization's overall security posture
  • Design and generate Workday reports as needed
  • Participate in requirements gathering and review, create test plans, remediation plans, test scenarios/scripts with expected outcomes; and system configurations for half-yearly cloud releases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Security configuration and implementation
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM, BP, Reporting, and Integration will be highly valued
  • Strong understanding of Workday security frameworks
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and developing policies/procedures related to information security management
  • Awareness of emerging security threats and strategies to mitigate them
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
