Job Title: Compliance Project Lead

This role requires a seasoned project lead to oversee initiatives ensuring compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in regulatory projects, data protection, and enterprise-level project management.

About the Role:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with PDPA regulations.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and compliance insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement processes to meet PDPA standards, driving business value through efficient compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, fostering clear communication of requirements.
  • Oversee implementation and testing of PDPA compliance solutions, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process/system improvements to maintain compliance.
  • Manage risks associated with PDPA compliance, mitigating potential impacts on the organization.
  • Provide training and support to staff on PDPA-related processes, promoting a culture of compliance.
  • Continuously monitor and improve processes to maintain compliance, aligning with changing regulatory landscapes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 12–15 years of IT work experience, with at least 8–10 years in enterprise-level project management.
  • Proven experience in banking, PDPA Singapore, and regulatory compliance projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, resource management, and change management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple functions and manage complex dependencies.
  • Project Management certification is an advantage.
