Job Description:

The Senior Maritime Specialist is a highly skilled professional responsible for conducting thorough inspections of newly constructed vessels, operational ships, and offshore platforms. Their duties involve auditing and certifying suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive surveys of newbuilding ships, operating ships, and offshore units
  • Audit and certify suppliers to ensure adherence to industry regulations
  • Provide specialized technical support to resolve intricate technical problems
  • Offer technical training services to enhance customers' expertise
  • Timely issue certificates, survey reports, and file survey files
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Shipbuilding, Maritime Affairs, or Marine Engineering
  • Fluency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Fluency in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
  • At least 10 years of on-site inspection experience in IACS member classification societies
  • Qualifications recognized by IACS member classification societies
Benefits:

Our company offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Salary: SGD $8000 - $12000 per month
  • Allowance: SGD $500 - $1000 per month
Working Hours and Key Competencies:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00, with frequent overtime work at night, on weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate should demonstrate mastery of IMO conventions, classification society rules, and various survey and audit requirements and procedures, as well as good health and physical energy to perform duties efficiently.
