Food Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an Assistant Quality Technician to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Job Description:The Assistant Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting regular inspections of finished products, raw materials, and semi-processed goods to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations. This includes verifying Critical Control Points (CCPs) and ensuring they are monitored and controlled. The incumbent will also conduct hygiene checks and verify cleaning & sanitation procedures.
In addition, the Assistant Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting food safety training for food handlers, handling food safety and quality documentation, and investigating customer complaints related to food safety and quality. Other duties include monitoring retention samples, creating product labels according to SFSA requirements, scheduling and tracking product testing, maintaining and calibrating QC tools, and assisting the QA Manager in reviewing and updating the HACCP Manual.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Possess a Diploma/Higher Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Nutrition or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Must be a team player and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
