Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide technical expertise to our field service teams.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in instrumentation, electronics, or mechatronic engineering, with 2 years of related experience in instrumentation. We welcome applications from candidates with no prior experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to field service teams
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests
  • Maintain accurate and reliable service tool inventory
  • Complete service documentation in proper format and by due dates
  • Handle high vacuum equipment, pumps, chillers, and compressors
  • Submit timely documents of service activities and expenses
  • Ensure proper storage of engineering documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma/ITE Certificate in Instrumentation/CPT/Electronics/Mechatronic Engineering with 2 years of related experience in Instrumentation
  • Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience at companies like Lam Research, Applied Materials, TEL, ASM is preferred
  • Background in field service related to Vacuum Technology or engineering roles in aerospace
  • Extensive experience in servicing machines in sectors such as semiconductor, shipbuilding, aerospace, and high vacuum systems
  • Able to lead a small team of junior engineers
  • Experience with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) or other coating machines is an asset
