Residential Caregiver Job Description

This role involves providing top-notch care to residents in a home setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting registered nurses with the delivery of nursing care.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills and be able to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents. Responsibilities include administering medications, wound dressing, and meal feeding, as well as ensuring personal hygiene and comfort.

  • Assist registered nurses with delivering nursing care to residents.
  • Participate in all nursing procedures, including medication administration and wound dressing.
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment for residents.
  • Ensure residents' personal hygiene and comfort needs are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess relevant certifications and training in healthcare support, such as WSQ Higher Certificate or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Approved Training Centre (ATC) Healthcare (Home Care) Programme. Alternatively, they may have completed a Certificate in Community Care (Community Care Traineeship Programme). Successful applicants without the required qualifications will be sent for further training.

GCE N Level and local training certificates are also considered.
