Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Workstone Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including collating and validating inputs, outputs, and statutory payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and validate payroll inputs, outputs, and statutory payments
  • Assist in the calculation and validation of variable pay elements, such as employee claims, sales commission, and overtime
  • Process invoices for staff welfare, consultancy, and payroll processing fees
  • Ensure timely processing and payment of government statutory contributions and payments
  • Compile monthly HR reports, statistics, forecasts, and ad-hoc requests
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance team to submit and validate finance journals, payroll cross-charges, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records
  • Design and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes
  • Address and resolve employee payroll issues and questions promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in payroll processing
  • High standard of payroll verification and checking skills
  • Solid knowledge of regulations and statutory requirements related to salaries, taxes, benefits, and other payroll matters
  • Experience in dealing with external payroll vendors
  • Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts, and presentations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and operational efficiency
