We are expanding our payroll services team and are looking for an experienced External Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll process for our clients. Job Overview
As an External Payroll Specialist at FOZL, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant payroll services to our external clients. You will handle multiple client accounts, ensuring that their payroll processes run smoothly, and provide expertise on payroll regulations, statutory submissions and client’s queries. This role requires someone who is highly organized, client-focused and able to meet tight deadlines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for external clients, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, commissions, and statutory contributions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, including CPF contributions, tax filings, and statutory deductions for clients. Prepare monthly and annual payroll reports as required.
- Manage statutory submissions for clients, including CPF, tax (IR8A, IR21), and other relevant government filings and ensure deadlines are met.
- Act as a payroll advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices, compliance requirements, and payroll strategies tailored to their business needs.
- Handle payroll-related queries from clients, providing timely and clear responses to address concerns or issues.
- Maintain accurate payroll records for each client, ensuring that all employee data is up to date, confidential, and compliant with data protection regulations.
- Utilize payroll software to manage payroll processing, troubleshoot any system issues and ensure payroll runs efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities to improve or expand payroll services.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations for clients.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with specific experience managing payroll for external clients or in a payroll service provider role.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s payroll regulations, CPF, tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s labor laws and legislations is essential, with regional labor law knowledge being a valuable plus.
- Problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
