Job Description

This role involves generating revenue and building strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and within a team, and maintain effective performance under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers to resolve queries or issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers through face-to-face sales visits.
  • Produce reports for management to evaluate performance against key performance indicators.
  • Cordinate and manage customer issues relating to service recovery and credit control.
  • Discuss personal sales strategy and plan with Marketing and Sales management on a regular basis.
  • Develop a weekly customer visit cycle to secure Ship-To-Profile of existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Submit GSP sales reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Report pipeline movement to Sales Management on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain regional/country standard profit margins and discount guidelines.
  • Formulate a personal sales plan that includes initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects.
  • Build strong client relationships to reduce attrition rates and minimize opportunities for competitors.
  • Convert qualified leads into customers and develop existing accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum 3 years of sales experience.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills with excellent numeric and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team to deliver results.
  • Ability to maintain effective performance under pressure.
