Head of Transformation and Change Management

As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a critical programme of work aligned to the organisational strategy, consisting of multiple sub-projects/workstreams for our client. You will have end-to-end ownership of the programme plan, ensuring dependencies are interlocked and all stakeholders are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, plan, and own the end-to-end delivery of a programme of work with multiple project sub-projects/workstreams.
- Identify key business stakeholders and lead on defining the business case, programme objectives, scope, agreed set of expected benefits, and outcomes.
- Communicate the outcomes/benefits of the programme across the organisation to garner support and buy-in, in conjunction with the Programme Sponsor.
- Establish and secure funding for the programme, managing delivery in line with the approved spend, understanding the drivers of project costs and variance, and taking actions to control costs or raise change control where appropriate.
- Secure resources to deliver the programme, providing strong leadership across multiple teams, business functions, and SMEs, providing input that takes into account the different levels of influence and interests of each stakeholder, and motivating stakeholders to deliver the programme.
- Maintain oversight of the programme through setting clear priorities and responsibilities and coordinate planning across multiple Project Managers and delivery teams, giving due consideration to firm-wide priorities and dependencies, and optimising the programme plans to maximise benefits as required.
- 15 years of project management experience, preferably in an Investment Bank or Global Asset Management organisation, with hands-on experience in coordinating and handling requirements across all departments, managing budget, timelines, and needs of the business sponsors.
- Good understanding of end-to-end processes and system flows within financial institutions, including outsourcing arrangements, with working knowledge of Aladdin, electronic trading platforms, and familiarity with market practices within APAC countries.
- Experience in dealing with 3rd parties, such as brokers, agents, custodians, transfer agents, etc., and experience in middle office or operations will be beneficial.
- Confident and effective communicator (both written and verbal English & Mandarin) across all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-suite levels.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders to build consensus and overcome challenges.
- Confident in facilitating complex and large-scale workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate, influence, and constructively challenge where appropriate.
