Production Manager Assistant Job Description

The role of an Assistant Production Manager involves supporting the Production Manager in overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process. This includes ensuring smooth operations, upholding safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Oversee daily production activities and ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of edible oil.
  • Coordinate manpower planning, raw materials, and packaging resources to achieve production targets.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance, prepare reports, and maintain accurate data.
  • Lead productivity and process improvement initiatives to optimize operations and minimize waste.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Prior working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and familiarity with food safety standards and HACCP.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
