Operational Excellence Manager Job Description

Lead a team responsible for edible oil contracts and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This role entails ensuring timely and accurate execution, including shipping documentation, LC handling, demurrage calculations, and post-fixture operations. Liaise closely with traders, chartering, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution flow.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in commodity operations, preferably in edible oils or soft commodities.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a large execution team in a fast-paced commodity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, shipping documentation, and LC processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with commodity trading systems is a plus.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency enhancements. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting KPIs for execution performance, cost control, and team productivity.
