**Company Overview**:
We are working with a leading palm oil trading firm seeking and experienced and entrepreneurial Edible Oils Senior Trader to join the team. If you have at least 8-10 years of trading experience in this field, we invite you to explore this exiciting opportunity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Recognize potential trading prospects in soft oils and palm oil, developing appropriate trading strategies for both physical and futures markets. Utilize arbitrage, cross-commodity spreads, calendar spreads, and other market opportunities.
- Execute and oversee trading strategies in accordance with approved policies.
- Stay attuned to price trends and market information to identify trading opportunities.
- Adhere to group Risk Management guidelines, providing daily reports on positions, mark-to-market (MTM) values, and counterparty exposures.
- Collaborate with other group traders and buyers, sharing market insights to enhance overall market knowledge within the trading desk. Operate efficiently in the fast-paced and volatile market environment, seizing short-term trading opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 8 to 10 years of proven experience in global soft oil trading
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Sound understanding of risk management principles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment
- Demonstrates robust analytical capabilities in both Fundamental and Technical analysis
- Possesses a deep understanding of Contract Terms within the commercial realm
- Displays proficient knowledge of the global commodity market, with a specific focus on designated categories, including a comprehensive understanding of the freight market
