Operational Excellence Manager Role Summary

As an Operational Excellence Manager, you will drive efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for edible oil contracts execution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipping documentation, LC handling, demurrage calculations, and post-fixture operations.
  • Liaise closely with traders, chartering, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution flow.
  • Manage relationships with key counterparties, including customers, suppliers, inspection agencies, shipping lines, and port authorities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Monitor and report KPIs for execution performance, cost control, and team productivity.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in commodity operations, preferably in edible oils or soft commodities.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a large execution team in a fast-paced commodity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, shipping documentation, and LC processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with commodity trading systems is a plus.
