Job Title: Event Operations Specialist

This role involves coordinating logistics for events and programs to ensure seamless execution. As an event operations specialist, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing operational strategies to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop detailed plans for events\
  • Manage logistical arrangements, including venue selection, catering, and equipment rental\
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate potential risks\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination\
  • Conduct data analysis to inform future event planning decisions\
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders\
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and alignment of expectations\
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate best possible rates and services\
  • Continuously evaluate and improve event operations processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness\
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track event metrics and performance\
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion\

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or related field\
  • At least 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination\
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills\
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask\
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines\
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\
  • Knowledge of event management software and tools\
  • Fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi is preferred\
