Event Operations Specialist

This role involves overseeing the logistical aspects of events held at our convention center. Key responsibilities include managing event databases, planning and coordinating events from start to finish, developing budgets, handling booth and speaking engagement reservations, processing reports and invoices, inspecting public areas, and responding to client inquiries about facility amenities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate event setup, including audiovisual equipment and catering arrangements
  • Manage event databases containing essential information, such as guest lists and schedules
  • Plan and coordinate events, ensuring timely execution and smooth logistics
  • Develop and manage event budgets, allocating resources effectively
  • Handle booth and speaking engagement reservations, ensuring seamless communication with clients
  • Process end-of-day reports and vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records
  • Inspect public areas and direct custodial staff before events, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Respond to client inquiries about facility amenities, providing exceptional customer service
Requirements:
