Job Description

This position oversees the daily operations of commercial, industrial, or retail properties. The successful candidate will work closely with the Real Estate Manager or higher staff to ensure smooth management of the property or portfolio.

  • Responds to tenant needs in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly.
  • Maintains compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual obligations and standards.
  • Conducts regular property inspections and recommends necessary alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning.
  • Manages vendor services and approves payment of invoices on behalf of the property owner.
  • Prepares accurate tenant billings and markets the property as needed.
  • Cordinates tenant move-ins and move-outs and ensures spaces are ready for occupancy.
  • Serves as key contact with property owners to ensure objectives are being met.
  • Develops and controls annual budgets for operating and capital expenses.
  • Collects rent and addresses tenant delinquencies.
  • Prepares legal notices and recommends legal action when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • A real estate salesperson license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • The ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
