Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Analyst to join our team at GLOBALFOUNDRIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore. As a key member of our Global Accounts Receivable team, you will be responsible for managing the full collection, cash application, credit management, and billing processes globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular credit assessments and analysis to ensure credit exposure is understood and controlled.
  • Support the weekly/monthly cash forecast activities and ensure cash forecast targets are met.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including Planner, Customer Support, and Account Manager, to ensure seamless shipment release and on-hold preparation work.
  • Perform credit releases and make recommendations to higher authorities to assist in decision-making.
  • Support internal and external inquiries related to AR and credit issues.
  • Monitor the accuracy of customer data in accounts receivable databases to assist in collections activities.
  • Improve collections, dispute resolution, and reduce delinquency by working with internal teams.
  • Support Supervisor with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Process cash applications for trade customers, non-trade customers, employees, and miscellaneous receipts.
  • Assist in generating billing, debit notes, and credit notes.
  • Process refunds to customers.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks related to Accounts Receivable and Credit.
  • Assist with customer prepayment applications and work with the corporate accounting team to ensure revenue recognition.
  • Ensure Business Control is aligned with AR's policy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Requires a high level of analysis, judgment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Calm and effective under pressure, able to remain professional in high-stress situations.
  • Able to plan, execute, and manage high volumes of work.
  • Able to interact with management levels of internal and external clients.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Embraces change and supports team management through it.
  • Able to work independently or with minimum supervision.
  • Able to communicate at all levels.
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Oracle Financial R12 system.
