- Customer Communication: Contact customers and send reminders to ensure timely payments, negotiate repayment plans, and establish payment terms and conditions.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare daily operational reports, monitor and analyze credit control performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and manage and evaluate the performance of repossession and external collection agencies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and other teams to review and follow up on aged balances, and address queries and appeals from drivers related to Credit Control matters.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance role.
- Accounting Knowledge: Accounting knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Online Banking: Familiarity with online banking systems.
- Administrative Work: Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and negotiation.
- Accounting: Strong accounting knowledge, including journal entries and bank reconciliation.
- Collections: Experience in collections management, including debt recovery and credit control.
