Restaurant Manager Job Description

Are you a skilled hospitality professional looking for a challenging role? Do you have experience in managing restaurants and teams? We are seeking a qualified Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining market awareness, developing new processes, coordinating front and back of house operations, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, controlling operations cost, responding promptly to customer complaints, managing outlet image, training staff on customer service best practices, organizing shifts, managing staff training and performance, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain market awareness and develop new processes for efficient restaurant operations.
  • Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning.
  • Coordinate front and back of house operations for smooth delivery of services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Control operations cost and identify measures to cut wastages.
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and suggest solutions.
  • Manage outlet image and maintain good reputation.
  • Train and coach staff on customer service best practices.
  • Organize and supervise shifts.
  • Manage staff training, schedules, and work performance.
  • Prepare reports and analyze sales figures to maximize profits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality or Retail Management.
  • Proven work experience as Restaurant Manager or Hospitality Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented and financial management skills.
