Hospitality Operations Manager
Description:
The Hospitality Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of a Housekeeping Department in a hotel environment. This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance are maintained throughout the property.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve departmental processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Supervise housekeeping attendants, providing guidance and training as needed
- Prepare and distribute assignment sheets, prioritizing tasks to meet guest expectations
- Monitor staff attendance and address any performance issues promptly
- Assign keys and beepers to staff, maintaining accurate records for security purposes
- Analyze occupancy forecasts to ensure adequate manpower for cleaning tasks
- Assist guests with housekeeping requests and provide additional supplies as needed
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Secondary education or equivalent
- Minimum 2-year experience in a similar job role, preferably in hospitality
- Familiarity with sanitation standards is desirable
- Strong team leadership skills
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays
