Learning and Development Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Strategist to join our organization. As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will drive the strategy and implementation of learning and development programs that build staff capabilities, support employee engagement, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, with a proven track record of designing and implementing effective talent development strategies and programs.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing learning strategies that build capacity and capabilities of staff
  • Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive learning & development framework for key job families with learning roadmaps to bridge current and future skill gaps in alignment with the Competency Framework
  • Overseeing leadership development and core programs and facilitating applications
  • Driving staff development planning at the organization, Track/Department level with leaders where staff are encouraged to be self-directed
  • Managing all learning programs in the organization, including administration, data-driven learning evaluations/effectiveness, and maintaining the Learning Management System to provide useful reports to leaders and staff


Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or related fields, preferably within the education sector
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective talent development strategies and programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to inspire and mentor staff
