Transaction Manager Job Description

The role of a Transaction Manager is to oversee the smooth and timely closings of investments.

This involves working in-step with investment teams, executing various projects and tasks related to deal closing and investment operations across multiple strategies.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring all closing requirements are met as per the service menu, being the go-to resource for process queries or application of processes and policies, collaborating with internal teams and external counterparts, and reviewing and negotiating legal documents with external counsel.

  • Key responsibilities include project management, process optimization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • You will work closely with the global Transaction Management team to enhance and automate key operational processes, develop and enhance process management and fund reporting targeting both efficiency and scale.
  • Accurate data collection, recording, and reconciliation of investment commitments, financial crimes and compliance requests, and audit findings is essential for this role.
  • Additional duties may include general compliance and regulatory filing assistance for new and existing deals together with Director appointments and follow-up on post-meeting tasks.

What skills do we require?
To excel in this position, you should possess excellent organizational and document management skills. Additionally, you must have strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deals at any given time.

A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is necessary. Furthermore, a strong understanding of Private Equity investment agreements and corporate governance and compliance requirements is required.

With 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, you will bring valuable insights and expertise to our team. We value flexibility and offer an office-based arrangement four days per week with flexible work-from-home options to meet your needs.
