About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Project Leader to manage the delivery of delegated Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) Projects and tasks in Singapore and the region.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Bid & Project Management, ensuring project objectives in relation to cost, time, safety, and quality are achieved. This includes managing assembled bid/project teams, developing high-quality and competitive bid offers, and adhering to Thales Bids & Project Management Governance framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Bids and Projects in accordance with Thales guidelines to address business objectives.
  • Liaise closely and collaboratively with functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of bids/projects, particularly coordinating with Engineering for industrial settings between Singapore and Melbourne.
  • Effective management of stakeholders and associated communications both external and internal.
  • Develop customer relationships by delivering products and services that exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct gate reviews in accordance with Thales Governance framework.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage Bid and Project integrated schedule, budget, baselines, risks, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate and negotiate input from suppliers, partners, and overseas subcontractors.
  • Prepare and present all internal and customer reporting requirements.
  • Participate in the development of Thales functional objectives and strategies as a member of the Bids and Projects function.
  • Develop KPIs and conduct analysis to provide early alerts to emerging variances and risks, developing mitigation plans to counter them.
  • Guide, coach, and provide direct support to less experienced project managers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or other suitable discipline.
  • IPMA Certification or ability to secure certification.
  • Proven leadership skills with high interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • At least five years' experience in Project Management with multi-partners/major co-contractors.
  • Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Confidence and maturity to represent the company at senior levels with customer organisations nationally and internationally.
  • Exceptional written communication skills including authoring content and editing.
  • Strong internal stakeholder management in a matrix organisation.
  • Strong customer focus and external relationship management.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to make effective commercial and financial decisions.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
