Laboratory Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Supervisor to lead our team in chemical testing and quality control. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lab and ensuring compliance with operating standards.
You will oversee the activities of laboratory assistants, prioritize tasks, and assign work schedules to ensure effective resource utilization and meeting targets.
The successful candidate will assist the QC Manager in product classification and reworked lot classification. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and investigating quality issues, implementing improvements from analysis gap studies, and monitoring in-process samples.
A key part of this role is preparing activity and progression reports to identify recurring problems and implement solutions. Additionally, you will monitor staff performance, equipment, and laboratory processes to ensure quality control system effectiveness and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Degree in a Chemical related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Laboratory Testing (Wet Chemistry)
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of Laboratory Assistants
- Good understanding of laboratory equipment such as GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR etc
- Experience of Manual Testing
