QC Laboratory Supervisor | Wet Chemistry | Manual Test Expertise

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance to operating standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wet chemistry and manual testing, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in laboratory testing. They will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of a team of laboratory assistants, prioritizing tasks and assigning work schedules and targets.

The QC Laboratory Supervisor will also be responsible for troubleshooting and investigating quality issues, implementing improvements from analysis gap studies. They will monitor in-process samples, liaise with production teams for preventive and corrective actions, and prepare activity and progression reports.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and coach a team of laboratory assistants. They will have a good understanding of laboratory equipment such as GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR etc.

Requirements
  • Degree in Chemical related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in Laboratory Testing (Wet Chemistry).
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team of Laboratory Assistants.
  • Good understanding of laboratory equipment such as GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR etc.
  • Experience of Manual Testing.
