Job Description:

  • We are looking for a skilled engineer to develop and implement test plans, testbench documentation, and verification workflows for GPON network systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SystemVerilog language, SVA, and UVM methodology for block-level verification.
  • Responsibilities include debugging tests with design engineers to deliver functionally correct design blocks and closing coverage measures to identify verification holes.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for writing scripts to automate routine parts of the verification workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in GPON network engineering or related roles, with specific experience in managing GPON networks is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will have proficiency in GPON equipment such as OLTs, ONTs, ONUs, and their configurations.
  • A strong understanding of GPON protocols and standards, including ITU-T G.984.x series is required.
  • Experience verifying digital logic at RTL using SystemVerilog for FPGAs and/or ASICs is highly desirable.
  • Experience verifying digital systems using standard IP components/interconnects is also desired.
  • The successful candidate will have experience creating and using verification components and environments in standard verification methodology.
  • A strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve GPON network-related issues is essential.
