About the Role:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heritage Conservation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality heritage assessments and conservation plans, as well as conducting site-walkover surveys and archival research.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce detailed heritage assessments and conservation plans for historic buildings and sites.
2. Conduct site-walkover surveys and archival research to gather information on the historical context and significance of properties.
3. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Collaborate with other professionals, including designers, engineers, and environmental specialists, to deliver comprehensive conservation solutions.
Requirements:
1. A degree in Built Heritage or Architecture (or equivalent).
2. Minimum two years' working experience in the Built Environment or Built Heritage Environment.
3. Strong knowledge of Singapore's heritage laws and regulations.
4. Good understanding of Southeast Asia history.
5. Class 3 driving license is desirable.
