Chief Compliance Officer

The Chief Compliance Officer will oversee all aspects of regulatory compliance for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the designated Compliance Officer and undertake all necessary tasks.
  • Design and implement regulatory frameworks to ensure company compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Draft and implement policies, SOPs, systems, and internal controls for regulatory compliance programs.
  • Manage relationships with regulators and partners, handle queries, clarifications, and address concerns arising from AML and compliance activities.
  • Monitor new services and product launches to ensure compliance with existing legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as contact person for breaches or violations of compliance obligations.
  • Lead internal and external audits of compliance and regulatory processes, respond to audit results, remediate issues, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Create regular regulatory performance reports and recommendations on strategy.
  • Develop and conduct internal training sessions for the regulatory and compliance team, manage business activities for compliance, and support other legal and regulatory team members regionally.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role.
  • Relevant experience in payments, fintech, banking, financial institutions, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage compliance and regulatory matters independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to balance business needs and regulatory obligations.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with regulators and understanding diverse regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership capability to mentor and guide compliance teams.
  • Skilled in managing multiple complex compliance projects simultaneously.
  • Highly efficient, adaptable, and able to perform independently in a fast-paced environment.
