**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral device problems.

  • Provide technical assistance for operating systems, applications, and other software tools.

  • Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware components such as hard drives, memory, and graphics cards.

  • Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and updates.

  • Set up and configure network printers and other peripherals.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Nitec / Diploma in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software (Microsoft Office suite, etc.).

  • Familiarity with hardware components (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals) and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and protocols.
