Job Title: Senior Learning and Development Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Learning and Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that drive business results and enhance the skills of our retail employees.

We are looking for an individual with excellent instructional design skills, a deep understanding of adult learning principles, and experience in developing training programs that engage and motivate learners.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in creating effective training solutions that address talent gaps and improve guest experiences. You will also possess strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging and interactive training programs that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences
  • Design and deliver training sessions that focus on sales and service skills, product knowledge, and leadership development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop solutions that align with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, handouts, and assessments
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the retail industry
  • Proven track record of success in creating effective training solutions that drive business results
  • Strong instructional design skills, including experience with adult learning principles and instructional design models
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
