Job Description:
We are looking for a talented individual with experience in supporting theatrical sales and distribution functions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the entertainment or content landscape, as well as knowledge of international marketplaces and cultural nuances.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Connecting daily with key South Asian markets, ensuring local support and resources for excellence in distribution and operations
- Preparing quarterly/industry/MPA summary reports on market health, growth, and trends
- Collaborating closely with the London-based strategy team on frequent analytical projects
- Heading the organization of on-ground events for annual meetings with members of Home Office
- Overseeing logistics of film distribution in Bangladesh, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Timor Leste, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka
- Engaging daily with regional Distribution Directors to optimize film releases
- Providing data-driven analytics for comprehensive presentations to VP of South Asia and distribution plans
- Troubleshooting technical issues and enhancing user experience through digital interface support
- Designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting theatrical sales and distribution functions
- Deep understanding of the entertainment or content landscape
- Knowledge of international marketplaces and cultural nuances
- Solid command of basic tools and skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Strong command of multiple reporting platforms
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
