Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned programme leader to spearhead our efforts in empowering disadvantaged youths through sustainable initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for youth development, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive impactful change in their community.

This role requires a strong understanding of the socio-economic challenges facing youths, and a proven ability to develop and implement effective solutions to address them.

The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of programme activities.

This is a senior role that demands exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize diverse stakeholders towards a common vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to address poverty among youths.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify key challenges and opportunities facing disadvantaged youths, and design evidence-based interventions to address them effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to leverage resources and expertise in support of programme goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme performance against predefined targets and indicators, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to maximize impact and sustainability.
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to secure financial resources and ensure the long-term viability and growth of the programme.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, international development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in programme management, community development, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success in designing, implementing, and evaluating youth-focused initiatives.
