Job Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a STEM graduate to gain valuable experience in intellectual property operations and administration. The successful candidate will provide support to the IP & Licensing team, working on data entry, communication, and record-keeping tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the licensing database.
  • Send reminder emails to licensees for outstanding submissions or obligations.
  • Request and follow up with licensees on sales reports required for licensing compliance.
  • Tabulate royalties distribution using spreadsheet applications.
  • Assist in preparation of technology offers for potential licensees.
  • Support due diligence activities for licensing processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the IP & Licensing team as needed.

Requirements:

  • A qualification in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics disciplines.
  • Brief computer skills and willingness to learn data entry systems.
  • Effective communication skills for email correspondence.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
  • Willingsness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet applications.
