Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement outreach plans to seniors in identified blocks, including follow-up visits and annual calendar plans of social and health activities.
- Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups, ensuring that programmes and activities meet performance indicators and operating guidelines.
- Conduct regular outreach to seniors in identified HDB blocks and private residences, with the aim of registering all seniors within the service boundary and monitoring their well-being.
- Recruit, interview, and screen potential volunteers, establishing networks with local community-based services and resources to engage volunteers in programme implementation.
- Provide and coordinate orientation of volunteers to their assigned role and the mission and objectives of the organisation.
- Polytechnic Diploma in any discipline or WSQ Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Social Services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with seniors, volunteers, and community-based services.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Working hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm (Mon-Fri) and 8:30am to 12:30pm (alternate Saturdays). Islandwide coverage required.
