Expertise in Actuarial ScienceJob Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled actuary to join our team and work on high-impact opportunities. Your expertise will be applied to market research, industry benchmarking, valuation, pricing, product development, regulatory changes, mergers and acquisitions, actuarial audits, financial modeling, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Conduct market research and industry benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities.
  3. Develop and implement valuation, pricing, and product development strategies.
  4. Analyze and advise on regulatory changes, including Risk-Based Capital, Solvency II, and IFRS.
  5. Lead merger and acquisition projects, conducting due diligence and providing financial advisory services.
  6. Perform actuarial audits and financial modeling to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  7. Assess and manage financial risks, ensuring that they do not exceed acceptable levels.
Requirements:

University degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent is required. You must have experience in understanding economic or market issues and the ability to interpret their impact on clients. Passion for this field demonstrated through university projects, internships, conferences, self-study, etc., is also necessary.

Actuarial examinations with either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Society of Actuaries (US) or the Institute of Actuaries of Australia should be pursued.
