Key Role Summary:

We are seeking a professional to join our team as an Actuarial Specialist.

This role involves working closely with our pricing, data analytics and portfolio management teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our products.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as experience in actuarial science and data analysis.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement pricing models for Group, Individual Health and Shield portfolios
  • Conduct regular assumption studies including inflation study, expense study and technical pricing review
  • Maintain and enhance pricing tools and quotation engine
  • Support system set up and implementation for product launches
  • Produce and enhance business management information and client reports, with a focus on data-driven insights that will facilitate discussion of business strategies
  • Engage reinsurers to put in place reinsurance arrangements, as part of the new product development process and to maintain existing facultative reinsurance arrangements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement key strategic initiatives
Requirements:
  • Actuarial / Mathematics / Statistics Degree
  • Good progress in the Actuarial professional examinations
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, with basic knowledge of VBA
  • Good knowledge of Python
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Meticulous and resourceful individual
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in pricing of Group Employee Benefit schemes
