Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bid and Tender Manager to oversee the entire tendering process, focusing on marine construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and submit bids in a timely manner, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to provide accurate cost estimations and feasibility studies.
  • Create detailed breakdowns of costs, including BOQs and pricing strategies, to ensure effective budget management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for tenders and maintain open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and drive value creation.
  • Maintain project budgets and ensure cost control during execution, while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bidding and quantity surveying, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage full tendering process independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in cost estimation tools and Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
