Chemical Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Analyst to perform routine and non-routine testing assignments, ensuring timely and accurate test results with minimal direct supervision.

The successful candidate will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for conducting testing of environmental samples, chemical analysis using various methods, and equipment maintenance.

  • Conduct testing of wastewater, trade effluent, leaching tests of building materials, and suitability tests of water.
  • Perform chemical analysis using wet chemistry methods, HACH & APHA methodologies, ICP, TOC, IC, FTIR, and UV/VIS instrumentation.
  • Ensure reagents preparation, QA/QC, and test methods comply with ISO 17025 requirements.
  • Upkeep equipment calibration, maintenance, and verification for lab quality management compliance.
  • Perform sampling and on-site testing when required.
  • Maintain laboratory standards and ensure chemicals and consumables availability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Analytical course.
  • Proficient in using equipment such as IC, ICPMS, GC-MS.
  • In-depth understanding of testing concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and compile testing data from the tests performed.
