Leading Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for leading scientific research and development projects, managing laboratory staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology and laboratory management, with experience in leading teams and overseeing laboratory operations. You will be responsible for performing laboratory protocols, training and managing lab staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing laboratory policies and procedures
- Managing laboratory staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Overseeing laboratory operations, including quality control and assurance
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO and CAP standards
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with laboratory equipment and instruments is also essential.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Life Science or related field
- At least 5 years' experience in a licensed clinical laboratory, with qualifications to act as Laboratory Manager/Section Lead in Singapore
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, quality management systems and/or clinical accreditation such as CAP or ISO required
