Scientific Leadership Role

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in molecular biology and laboratory management, with experience in leading teams and overseeing laboratory operations.

We are looking for an individual who can lead our team of scientists and support staff in delivering high-quality data to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory protocols, training and managing lab staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with laboratory equipment and instruments is also essential.

In addition to laboratory responsibilities, the successful candidate will participate in internal and external audits, working closely with the Clinical Governance Officer and Laboratory Director to ensure that our laboratory services meet the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Life Science or related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in a licensed clinical laboratory, with qualifications to act as Laboratory Manager/Section Lead in Singapore
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, quality management systems and/or clinical accreditation such as CAP or ISO required
