HR Generalist Job Description

The role of HR Generalist involves overseeing the entire Human Resources (HR) function, ensuring that all employees are supported and aligned with the company's objectives.

  • Manage end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to ensure the best candidate selection.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Handle employee relations matters including grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans in accordance with labor laws and company regulations.
  • Support the performance management process by setting goals, conducting mid-year reviews, and annual assessments to evaluate employee performance.
  • Administer HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance with local labor laws and company regulations.
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate HR records to ensure timely payment and compliance.
  • Assist in implementing HR programs and initiatives such as employee engagement activities and talent development programs to enhance employee experience and growth.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience preferably in an MNC environment within the machinery industry.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment and employment processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
